we’re beyond excited to invite you back to Sibbarp for round three.
South Ocean Festival 2025 is held on August 29 – 30 and offers two distinct experiences: a vibrant beach party on Friday and a full-fledged music festival on Saturday. It’s a two-day, multi-genre music festival held in Sibbarp, a scenic coastal area in Malmö, just steps away from the beach and with the iconic Öresund bridge as our backdrop.
Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy a wide selection of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere. With stunning seaside views and unforgettable sunset moments, South Ocean Festival delivers an experience that blends music, culture, and summer vibes in one unforgettable weekend.
FRIDAY
South Ocean BEACH PARTY
We kick off the weekend with a new concept for 2025: South Ocean Beach Party. Think summer party, sunset, your favorite DJs, a cold drink in your hand and that bittersweet feeling of summer slowly coming to an end. It’s our way of waving goodbye to the summer season, with bare feet in the grass and deep bass in the air.
You can view it as a pre-party, an AW, a Friday party, a summer party, a night with your friends, colleagues or family - it doesn't matter. What matters is we will have a lot of fun together.
That's the point!

SATURDAY
9 CONCERTS. TWO STAGES.
A full day of live music that’ll move you! MØ, Oskar Linnros, Albin Lee Meldau, Molly Hammar and a whole lineup of brilliant artists ready to light up the South Ocean stages. Bring your friends and enjoy an amazing day of concerts where we’ll be dancing, singing and enjoying ourselves with our beloved Øresund Bridge and the Copenhagen skyline keeping us company.
Full festival schedule will be released as the festival approaches but we encourage you to the full South Ocean experience! Plan your whole day or weekend at South Ocean and remember you can hang out at the beach all day, go in and out from the festival area to get some food or drinks and use our locker service to maybe change clothes for the evening or store your bag.
FESTIVAL AREA
Our beloved home - Sibbarp - sits right on the edge of Malmö, hugging the Öresund coastline with wide-open skies and front-row seats to the iconic bridge between Sweden and Denmark.
It’s the kind of place that feels like an escape without ever leaving the city. Sunsets melt into the sea, waves roll in on the beach to the rhythm of the music, and just across the ocean, Copenhagen glows on the horizon.
Only 20 minutes from Malmö’s city centre (yes, an easy bike ride), and just 25 minutes to Copenhagen Airport, Sibbarp is as easy to reach as it is hard to leave. Whether you’re flying in, arriving by train, or rolling up on two wheels, you’ll find yourself exactly where you need to be.
With two stages, a packed lineup, two amazing days and nature as our backdrop, this is where it all comes together. The music, the memories, the friendship, the love. A little wild, a little crazy, and totally unforgettable.

Our tickets are setup to enusre there are options for everyone no matter what experience you're looking for. Here's a short summery but make sure to check out the ticket page before securing your ticket to make sure you're getting the most out of your weekend.
STANDARD
Available for both Friday & Saturday. Gives you access to the festival area with foodcourt, bars, toilet area and all music stages.
FAST TRACK
Ensure you can get in without waiting in line. We have a separate entrance called fast track that's available both days in our fast track and VIP options.
VIP
You get fast track entrance and access to our VIP area and VIP bars. These bars have an extended menu where you can enjoy some extra drinks not available in standard bars. You have access to the entire standard area and move freely between them. No designated drinking areas on South Ocean Festival. We're likeminded with William Wallace: Freedom!
FESTIVAL PASS
These are our weekend passes. Two days of South Ocean! When you have a fastivalpass you are automatically upgraded to a fast track option on Friday and you can choose a standard or VIP experience on Saturday. We don't provide a seperate VIP area on Friday only the fast track entrance option. However we do provide the option to book your own table with personal service.

TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS.
There are a few ways of getting to and from our festival area in Sibbarp. Note that South Ocean does not offer official parking for festival visitors and that public parking is extremely limited. If you are staying at Clarion Hotel Malmö Live or at Sibbarps camping you can park there. Plan your trip using our travel page!

WHERE TO STAY
HOTEL, CABIN OR CAMPING?
There's several ways to stay when planning your weekend at South Ocean Festival. A top-notch and full service hotel, a nice cabin with your friends or camping right next door to the festival. We have gathered all necessary info on our accommodation page. Make sure to check it out when planning your South Ocean Experience.
FOOD & DRINKS
We keep it simple: good food, made by people who care about what they’re serving.
Our food trucks are handpicked, not because they look good on a list, but because they make stuff that tastes great, whether that’s a fully loaded baked potato, something fried and crispy with a lot of sauce (love it!), or a sweet fix you didn’t know you needed until you tried it.
You can walk around our festival area with your beer or preferred drink, which is how it should be. No weird fences, no drink pens, just freedom to roam, sip, and snack.
Cocktails are available exclusively in the VIP area, where you’ll find a carefully curated bar with mixed drinks, chill seating, and a bit more breathing room. It’s a nice little upgrade if you’re looking for something extra, and a great place to recharge between concerts.

We offer the ability to book your own secure locker at South Ocean Festival. Perfect for storing your bag or a variety of cloths so you can spend all day at the festival grounds.
