TRAVEL INFO

DENMARK
South Ocean Festival is just as Danish as it is Swedish! We love the fact that our two countries are so close and our founder has been eating pølse and enjoying TIVOLI since he was a little kid. We love visiting your country and Copenhagen and welcome you with open arms to visit us. To make things easy we have put together a special page with information that can be useful to our Danish neighbors and friends. You find it HERE.
AIRPORT
Landing at Copenhagen Airport (CPH)? You’re in the perfect spot. From there, it’s just about 25 minutes by train to Malmö Central Station—no transfers, no stress. Trains run every 20 minutes, and the ride takes you straight over the stunning Öresund Bridge (don’t forget to look out the window and take a pictue).
Once you’ve arrived in Malmö, you can choose any alternative you like listed on this page and the sea breeze will greet you on arrival.
Flying to Malmö Airport (MMX)? No problem! Take the airport coach into the city (around 30–40 minutes), then follow the same Malmö > Sibbarp route. Or take a taxi straight to the festival area.
TAXI
We recommend that you use Über och Bolt if you arrive by taxi. The drop off zone is the same as if you arrive by public transport. We are currently working on a possible partnership with a taxi company and will update the info here once available.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Hop on bus line 34 from Malmö Central Station and you’ll be dropped off just a short stroll from the festival entrance. The ride takes about 25 minutes and buses run regularly throughout the day. If you arrive by train exit at Malmö Central station. Note that the capacity might be limited, so plan your trip with a buffer! Plan your trip using skanetrafiken.se
BY BIKE
Once in Malmö, a great way to get to the festival is by bike. You can rent one or use an electric scooter and get here in no time. Depending on your starting position we'd say between 10-25 minutes. If you start in central Malmö you will have a beautiful ride along our coastline and see some great spots along the way and it will take you 15-20 minutes.
We're so excited you are planning your trip to South Ocean Festival! Can't wait to see you! Here's some guidance on how to get to the festival area.
